Heath Candy
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 sleeve Saltines
1 12-oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil or wax paper. Lay saltines on
foil, covering entire cookie sheet.
Melt margarine in a small sauce pan over low heat, add brown sugar. Boil
for a solid 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour margarine/sugar mixture over the top of the saltines, spreading
evenly.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top immediately after removing from
oven. Let the chips melt then spread evenly.
Cool in refrigerator. Break into bite sized pieces. Store in
refrigerator.
