Treasure Chest

Materials:
Metal tins: From fruit cake, candy, or cookie tins, with lids
Glue
Felt in bright colors to match the outside of the tin
Enamel craft paints
Fabric pieces

What to do:

1. Clean the tins and dry thoroughly.
2. Line, using glue, the inside of the tin with felt.
3. Completely cover the lid of the tin with enamel paint or glued fabric.
4. If you chose to paint the lid, you may use stencils, decals or just paint a design on the top. If you are going to give the tin as a gift, you can also paint the persons name on it.

These are great to keep your small items in or to give as gifts.
