Sand Art
Things you will need:
Bottle of glue
Construction paper
Sand
(optional sprinkle container)
What to do:
Let your child use the glue bottle to make a design on the paper.
Next let your child sprinkle sand on the glue. Shake the extra sand off the
picture and you have sand art.
Optional: You can put the sand in a shaker for younger kids or just let them
take a fist full to dump it on.
Variation: Color your sand first, by mixing small amounts of powdered
tempera paint with/ your sand, then pour sand in shakers. |
