4th of July Luminaries

4th of July Luminaries

Materials:
Star Shaped Stencils of different sizes
Tissue paper in both red and blue
White Paper Lunch Bags
Scissors
Glue Stick
Sand
Tea light or votive candles

Directions:
Use the star shaped stencils to cut several different sized stars from both colors of the tissue paper. Next, glue the stars to the insides of the white lunch bags with a glue stick.

Fill each bag with 2 to 3 inches of sand and place a tea light or votive candle into the sand.

Place the luminaries outside where you can keep an eye on them, and have an adult light the candles.
