Grow a Bunny

Grow a Bunny

Materials:
White Styrofoam cups
Tempera paints (pink, brown and black)
Potting soil
Plastic wrap
Flower seeds, pink flowers work great

Use the paints to decorate your cup. Leave the cup white or paint it brown for the bunny. Paint on eyes, nose and whiskers. Allow to dry completely.

Punch a small hole in the bottom of the cup and put a small rock over it to allow for drainage. Fill the cup with potting soil to within 1/2 inch of the top.

Plant a couple of seeds in the soil, water gently and then cover the cup with plastic wrap. Set it in a shallow bowl or on a plastic lid and place it in a sunny spot.

Once the seeds sprout you can remove the plastic wrap. Keep the soil moist and allow the plants to grow and bloom. Once the flowers bloom you will have "bunny ears"
