Cheesy Grilled Cheese

Cheesy Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:
1 Pound cake
1 can pre-made white frosting
Yellow and red food coloring

Directions:
Place frosting in a small bowl and add a few drops of red food coloring. Blend well.  Now add a few drops of yellow food coloring and blend well.  Add coloring and blend until it looks like the color of American Cheese.

Slice the pound cake into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slices, to resemble slices of bread. Put them in the toaster on a low setting and toast until golden brown. Allow to cool. Cut each slice diagonally (corner to corner).

Carefully place a spoonful of the frosting on a slice of the pound cake then top with another slice of the pound cake. Gently press down on the top slice, forcing the frosting to ooze out some, making it look like melted cheese.

*Children should always be supervised when preparing or cooking in the kitchen.
